saw this film in the theater visiting my divorced dad. There was always a big deal made of "what do you want to do?" "I don't know." "This is our special time, so tell me" etc. This was one of the rare times when I had no doubts or hedging: Let's go see Hot Shots Part Deux. I loved it. The part where Sheen runs out of ammo and sees a barrel of bullets, grabs a handful and tosses em at the bad guys and they all fall down like they've been shot -- hilarious. Afterwards I was like That was great and my Dad was like That was the worst movie I've ever seen. No redeeming value whatsoever, blah blah blah blah. I took it really personally and cried uncontrollably for like 20 minutes, the whole time blubbering about how I didn't know why I was crying but couldn't stop. I remember it being blindingly bright in the parking lot afterward.

that is really sad! seriously.
i didn't see the whole thing. I loved many things about it. Like, when she puts the mole back on her face. The president of the united states was so elderly seeming and swashbuckly. The special fx imitating terminator 2.
that was the best article i have ever read, my mouth can't stop drooling. ew. i wonder if there would ever be black mushrooms. 2 of my roommates are half-japanese!
